A Little About Me

My name is Wendy and I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have not always been a member of this church. While in my youth, I attended several different churches. I attended Baptist and Lutheran church services as well as the Catholic church. When I was 21 years old some LDS missionaries came to my door. They asked if I would like to know more about their church. I agreed to listen to their message. My husband was LDS, but was not active (not participating) at the time. We had a baby boy the previous year and I had been thinking about finding a church to attend as I wanted my children to be brought up with a religious background. After listening to the messages from the missionaries, reading the Book of Mormon and after much prayer, I knew that I wanted to be a member of this great church. I would like to share with you some of my beliefs.
